Abbas is an industry-recognized security expert with over 15 years of hands-on experience. His career is highlighted on starting and creating new companies, organizations and products. He loves creating new entities and discovering creative ways of solving complex problems. Abbas responded to numerous sophisticated cyber intrusions into corporate networks. Abbas worked with corporate and governmental victims to find and eradicate intrusions in their networks, mitigate data loss, and implement cyber best practices to ensure victim networks were more resilient to attacks. Abbas managed a team of highly skilled Special Agents, Intelligence Analysts, and Forensic Examiners conducting global investigations. Criminal and National Security Hackers repeatedly target telecommunication infrastructure for the purpose of financial gain or hostile intelligence gathering. Abbas worked closely with partners in the telecommunication industry to identify malware and hacking techniques responsible for the breaches, locate the individuals responsible, and secure the victims against additional loss. Abbas supervised multiple investigations into the compromise of banking and securities trading computer systems. He combined host and network forensics in addition to innovative intelligence operations to identify and neutralize threat actors both domestically and internationally.

After months of interviewing at several companies and not finding where I belonged, I decided to reach out to local organizations, showcasing my academic knowledge and appetite to learn. The one individual who reached back out to me via phone is now my General Manager and the Executive Vice President of Makers Nutrition, Steve Finnegan.
