Globee® Awards Terms and Conditions of Entry

Effective date: August 13, 2026

These Terms and Conditions of Entry (“Entry Terms”) govern nominations submitted to awards programs operated by Silicon Valley Communications, LLC, doing business as Globee® Awards (“Globee® Awards,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating or paying for an entry, the entrant agrees to these Entry Terms and confirms that it has authority to act for the nominee and any organization identified in the entry.

These Entry Terms should be read with the applicable program and category requirements, the Nomination and Entry Submission Process, the Judging and Awards Process, the Privacy Policy, and any rules displayed in the submission portal. If a program-specific requirement conflicts with these Entry Terms, the program-specific requirement governs that entry to the extent of the conflict.

1. Eligibility and Authority

Entrants and individual nominees must be at least 18 years old. An entrant submitting on behalf of another person, team, organization, product, service, or initiative represents that it has authority to make the submission and provide the included information and materials.

The entrant is responsible for confirming:

eligibility under the applicable program and category;

that the achievement occurred within the published eligibility period;

that required employer, client, organization, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, and other permissions have been obtained;

that the nomination does not violate any law, contract, confidentiality obligation, or third-party right; and

that the primary contact is authorized to receive communications and make decisions concerning the entry.

Globee® Awards may request information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility, identity, authority, payment, or the accuracy of a submission.

2. Entry Requirements

Each nomination must present an eligible achievement and comply with the current requirements of the selected program and category. Entries must be complete, accurate, submitted in the required format, and received by the applicable deadline.

The entrant represents that all statements are truthful and not materially misleading. Estimates, performance claims, comparisons, rankings, customer claims, and other factual assertions must have a reasonable basis. Globee® Awards and its judges are entitled to evaluate the entry based only on the information and evidence submitted.

Do not submit confidential, proprietary, trade-secret, NDA-protected, unlawfully obtained, or unnecessary personal information. Supporting links must be publicly accessible, free of login requirements, and available to external judges during the judging period.

3. Entry Content and Permission to Administer the Awards

The entrant retains its rights in original entry content. The entrant grants Globee® Awards a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, transmit, and make the entry available to staff, approved judges, auditors, and service providers as reasonably necessary to administer the program, verify eligibility, conduct judging, maintain records, resolve disputes, and protect program integrity.

If the entry wins, the entrant also authorizes Globee® Awards to publish the winner information described in Section 11. This administrative license does not require Globee® Awards to publish the full nomination or provide editorial coverage.

The entrant represents that it owns the submitted content or has all permissions necessary to grant these rights. Materials owned by others must be properly authorized and attributed where appropriate.

4. Categories and Recategorization

The entrant is responsible for selecting a suitable program and category. Globee® Awards may correct, consolidate, or change category placement when an entry is ineligible, materially miscategorized, submitted to a lower-fee category that does not apply, or better suited to another available category.

Recategorization may occur without prior entrant approval when reasonably necessary to preserve eligibility or program integrity. If the applicable fee is higher, Globee® Awards may require payment of the difference before judging or recognition. Failure to resolve a required fee difference may result in disqualification. If the applicable fee is lower, no refund or credit is provided unless required by law.

Recategorization does not guarantee eligibility, judging, or an award.

5. Multiple Entries and Categories

There is no maximum number of eligible nominations or categories an entrant may submit. Each entry must independently satisfy the applicable requirements and requires the corresponding entry fee.

Submitting the same or related achievement to multiple categories does not increase any individual entry’s score or guarantee recognition. Globee® Awards may decline duplicative, improperly fragmented, or strategically miscategorized entries.

6. Fees, Discounts, and Payment

Entry fees and deadline-based discounts are displayed by the applicable awards program. The fee in effect when the entry is paid applies to that transaction. Unless Globee® Awards expressly approves invoicing or another payment arrangement, an entry is not complete and will not proceed to judging until payment is received.

Entry fees support program administration and do not purchase an award. Payment does not influence judging, award level, Best of Category designation, winner publication, or editorial consideration.

Taxes, bank charges, currency-conversion costs, wire fees, and similar transaction expenses are the entrant’s responsibility unless applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Withdrawals and Refunds

An entrant may withdraw an entry and request a refund only until the last submission deadline for the applicable program. After that deadline, refunds are not issued for withdrawn entries.

No refund is provided because an entry is incomplete, ineligible, recategorized, disqualified, does not proceed to judging, or does not receive an award, except where required by law or where Globee® Awards expressly determines that a refund is appropriate because of its own material administrative error.

Refund requests must be submitted by the primary contact to help@globeeawards.com from the email associated with the entry.

8. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Entrants should contact help@globeeawards.com promptly about billing concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

If a payment is disputed, reversed, canceled, or determined to be unauthorized, Globee® Awards may suspend the affected entry, order, recognition, certificate, badge, merchandise, or related service while the matter is reviewed. If payment remains reversed or unpaid, Globee® Awards may cancel the affected transaction, disqualify the associated entry, revoke recognition dependent on that payment, recover amounts properly due, or decline future transactions.

A good-faith billing inquiry does not automatically result in a permanent ban. Fraudulent, abusive, or repeated payment disputes, false claims of unauthorized use, or attempts to retain benefits after reversing payment may result in exclusion from future participation and other remedies permitted by law.

9. One-Time Resubmission for a Non-Winning Paid Entry

Under the currently published policy, an entrant whose paid entry does not receive an award may revise and submit the entry once to another suitable Globee® Awards program within 12 months without paying an equivalent entry fee.

The resubmission:

must be eligible for the new program and category;

should be revised using the available scoring information and stronger supporting materials, or may present a different eligible achievement;

must follow the new program’s submission requirements and deadlines;

must be identified to Globee® Awards after submission; and

does not guarantee an award.

If the new entry fee is lower than the original fee, no refund or credit is provided for the difference. If the new fee is higher, the entrant must pay the difference. If the revised entry does not receive an award, no additional fee-free resubmission is available. Later submissions require the applicable fee.

10. Judging, Scores, and Results

Eligible entries are evaluated under the published numerical scoring process. Approved volunteer judges review the submitted information and evidence. Judges may not be specialists in every aspect of every assigned nomination.

Valid scores are aggregated to determine the final average. Award levels and scoring ranges are maintained on the Nomination and Entry Submission Process. Entries scoring below 7.00 receive no award. Everyone does not win, and an entry is not upgraded because it is the only submission in a category.

Judges assign numerical scores only. Written judge comments are not collected or provided. Winners and non-winners receive anonymous numerical scores after results are finalized.

Globee® Awards may audit scoring, exclude invalid scores, obtain additional evaluations, correct calculation or administrative errors, and take other proportionate steps necessary to preserve the integrity of the results. Final administrative determinations concerning eligibility, category placement, score validity, and awards rest with Globee® Awards.

11. Winner Information and Public Records

For eligible winners, Globee® Awards may publish the organization name; city, state, and country, as applicable; nominated achievement, product, or service; nominated individual or team; program; category; year; and award received.

Winner information is generally prepared from the submitted entry. The primary contact must review information carefully before submission and respond promptly to verification requests. Globee® Awards may correct verifiable typographical or factual errors but is not required to accept a change that would materially alter the nominee, organization, achievement, category, or award after judging.

Published winner records ordinarily remain available as part of the historical awards archive, subject to corrections or restrictions required by applicable law.

12. Winner eCertificates, eBadges, and Best of Category

Eligible winners receive a complimentary verified winner eCertificate and eBadge. There are no unpaid categories for which a winner must purchase basic digital recognition.

Best of Category may be awarded to the eligible entry with the highest final score in a category. It does not change the entry’s underlying Gold, Silver, or Bronze award level.

Digital recognition records the award actually received. Globee® Awards may correct, withhold, or revoke a certificate or badge issued because of fraud, ineligibility, payment reversal, administrative error, or other material violation of these Entry Terms.

13. Optional Merchandise and Events

Physical trophies, plaques, medallions, printed certificates, event participation, and other products or services are optional and, where offered, require separate payment. A purchase does not affect judging, award level, winner status, publication, or editorial consideration.

Merchandise availability, pricing, customization, production, shipping, taxes, customs duties, brokerage charges, delivery estimates, and replacement terms are displayed in the Globee® Awards Store or provided with the applicable order. Recipients are responsible for accurate shipping information and destination charges. Customized items may not be returnable except when defective, damaged, or incorrect, subject to the applicable order terms and law.

Any event is governed by the terms provided for that event. Globee® Awards does not guarantee that a live or virtual ceremony will be offered for every program or year.

14. Editorial and Promotional Consideration

Winning does not guarantee publication of the full nomination, an interview, article, profile, cover, press release, social-media feature, or other editorial or promotional benefit. Editorial selection remains discretionary and may depend on instructions, suitability, verification, quality, resources, scheduling, and editorial judgment.

Editors may edit, decline, postpone, or remove submitted editorial material and are not required to provide reasons for a particular decision. Editorial content accepted for publication is governed by the separate Terms and Conditions for Submitted Content, if published at that location.

15. Appropriate Use and Limitations of Recognition

A Globee® Award recognizes the achievement evaluated in a particular program, category, and year. It is not an academic or professional credential, license, regulatory approval, product certification, investment recommendation, immigration endorsement, employment verification, or guarantee of future performance.

Globee® Awards does not issue immigration or visa assistance, sponsorship, reference or recommendation letters, employment endorsements, legal opinions, or customized verification documents. No result is guaranteed by entering or winning, including publicity, credibility, sales, investment, employment, promotion, immigration, business success, or continued performance.

Entrants and winners must describe recognition accurately and may not imply a broader endorsement, certification, partnership, or authorization.

16. Disqualification and Revocation

Globee® Awards may reject, disqualify, suspend, or revoke an entry or recognition for material reasons including:

ineligibility or failure to satisfy program requirements;

false, misleading, unverifiable, unlawfully obtained, or improperly authorized content;

plagiarism, infringement, impersonation, fraud, manipulation, collusion, or conflicts affecting judging;

nonpayment or unresolved payment reversal;

misuse of the Globee® name, marks, certificates, badges, or recognition;

abusive interference with the program, portal, judges, entrants, staff, or service providers; or

violation of these Entry Terms or applicable law.

Globee® Awards will use measures it reasonably considers proportionate to the circumstances. Disqualification does not create a right to a refund except where required by law.

17. Privacy and Communications

Personal information is handled under the Globee® Awards Privacy Policy. The entrant must maintain accurate account and primary-contact information, monitor the associated inbox and spam folder, and respond to time-sensitive requests.

Operational communications concerning an entry, payment, deadline, result, certificate, badge, order, security issue, or support request may be sent even if the recipient has opted out of optional marketing communications.

18. Globee® Awards Intellectual Property

Globee®, Globee® Awards, Golden Bridge Awards®, program names, logos, website content, award designs, portal features, scoring materials, certificates, badges, and related intellectual property belong to Globee® Awards or their respective owners. No right is granted except the limited right to use an earned recognition accurately and in accordance with published brand or winner instructions.

19. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, programs, websites, portals, judging, certificates, badges, merchandise information, and related services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Globee® Awards does not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, any minimum number of entries or judges, any particular result, or acceptance of recognition by a third party.

Globee® Awards evaluates submitted achievements; it does not independently certify the overall quality, safety, legality, financial condition, regulatory compliance, or future conduct of a nominee, winner, organization, product, or service. Users should perform their own due diligence.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Globee® Awards and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising from an entry or related service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from a paid entry or related purchase will not exceed the amount paid to Globee® Awards for the specific entry, product, or service giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

21. Entrant Responsibility for Third-Party Claims

The entrant will be responsible for third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from the entrant’s material breach of its representations concerning authority, ownership, permissions, accuracy, confidentiality, or legality of submitted content. Globee® Awards will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim and permit reasonable participation in the defense or resolution. This section does not require indemnification for Globee® Awards’ own unlawful conduct.

22. Changes to These Terms or the Programs

Globee® Awards may revise these Entry Terms, programs, categories, fees, schedules, and procedures prospectively. The version accepted when an entry is paid generally governs that entry.

Material changes will not retroactively remove a benefit already earned under a paid entry except where reasonably necessary to comply with law, address fraud or misconduct, protect program integrity, correct an administrative error, or implement a change the entrant accepts.

Categories and schedules may change during an open submission period. Entrants should review the current program information before submitting.

23. Governing Law and Venue

These Entry Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any proceeding arising from these Entry Terms must be brought in a state or federal court located in Santa Clara County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Each party consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a claim, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the matter by written notice to the contact addresses below. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a small-claims procedure where legally available.

24. General Terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. The entrant may not transfer an entry or its rights under these Entry Terms without written approval. Globee® Awards may use service providers and may assign these Entry Terms in connection with a lawful reorganization, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the applicable business.

These Entry Terms and the incorporated program-specific requirements constitute the agreement concerning the entry and supersede inconsistent prior statements about that entry.
