I’m currently the CEO of Ysplit, a YCombinator funded startup that is building a financial software to make it easier for groups to pay together. We’ve just finished our Seed funding where we raised from the likes of Paul Graham and the founder of GMail. I’m responsible for backend and front engineering at the startup and also fund raising. Prior to this startup, I worked for Google as a software engineer and also founded one of the biggest YouTube channel for programming tutorials (Tonikami TV). As YSplit scales, I’m now responsible for figuring out how to write technology that scales and to plan for Series A. I have a Computer Science degree from the University of Southampton in the UK. Last year, I was responsible for reviewing 100 Y Combinator applications where I learnt the key markers for identifying an individual/company that is on the right path.
