Umit Yelken has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Later, he started his Masters education at the same university. He worked at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium to carry out his thesis studies. Later, he published articles on rocket technologies he was working on and founded a startup. He is currently continuing his PhD studies at Koç University.
