Globee® Awards – Terms & Conditions for Judges
By registering and participating as a volunteer industry expert and judge for the Globee® Awards, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all volunteer-related activities, assignments, communications, and engagements with the Globee Awards and its affiliated programs.
1. General Release and Waiver of Liability
By volunteering as a judge, you voluntarily discharge the Globee® Awards, its management, affiliates, board members, employees, sponsors, volunteers, and all cooperating organizations and businesses from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your participation in any Globee Awards activity or event.
You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Globee Awards from any fines, penalties, or costs incurred as a result of any breach of this agreement or misrepresentation on your part.
2. Professional Conduct and Participation
As a judge, you agree to:
- Conduct all activities with professionalism, fairness, and discretion.
- Uphold the reputation, neutrality, and integrity of the Globee® Awards at all times.
- Avoid disrespectful, inappropriate, or biased comments in evaluation forms or communications.
- Provide constructive expert comments for each assigned entry. Failure to do so may lead to removal from current or future judging activities.
3. Integrity and Disqualification Policy
Globee® Awards expects all judges to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and integrity. Judges who file a payment dispute or chargeback related to their own participation, nomination, or entry will be considered in violation of this expectation.
Globee Awards has a strict policy against issuing judging certificates, or any form of official recognition to individuals who file such disputes. These actions are incompatible with the values and standards upheld by our judging panel and may result in immediate removal from the judging process and exclusion from future participation.
4. eCertificate Eligibility and Discretion
- Verified eCertificates may be issued at the sole discretion of the Globee Awards to judges who complete their assigned evaluations.
- eCertificates are not guaranteed and may be withheld without explanation.
5. Judge Profile and Public Listing
- Approved judges may have their name, photo, and biography published on the Globee Awards website as part of our transparency commitment.
- The Globee Awards reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove judge profiles at any time without notice or explanation.
6. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Policy
Judges are entrusted with confidential information and must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
Prohibited Actions:
- Taking screenshots of confidential judging materials
- Downloading or saving entries, attachments, or data
- Copying, sharing, or distributing any content received for evaluation
Violations:
- Immediate removal from the judging program
- Revocation of access to certificates and judge profile
- Notification to your employer (if applicable)
- Disclosure of misconduct if contacted for reference checks
7. No Endorsement for Immigration or Visa Applications
Participation as a judge or award recipient does not imply endorsement or support for:
- Immigration or visa applications
- Residency status
- Employment verification or promotion
- Legal endorsements of any kind
The Globee® Awards does not provide immigration assistance, letters of recommendation, sponsorships, or legal documentation for any such purpose. Any individual referencing their involvement with Globee Awards for immigration or legal matters does so at their own discretion and risk. The Globee Awards makes no guarantees regarding the outcome of such use.
8. Use of Participation and Recognition
Judging for the Globee Awards or receiving a recognition is a reflection of professional contribution and expertise. However:
- It should not be misused as a guarantee of career advancement, immigration approval, or official endorsement.
- Any misuse or misrepresentation may result in disqualification and future ineligibility.
9. Certificate Policy
The Globee Awards may issue verified eCertificates to judges in recognition of their voluntary participation. These serve only as acknowledgments of service and are not intended for legal, immigration, or employment purposes. Requests beyond participation verification will be declined.
10. Abuse of Services
The Globee Awards reserves the right to revoke your access to judging or any other services at any time if we determine that you are misusing or abusing the platform, violating terms, or undermining the integrity of the judging process.
11. Agreement to Terms
By applying to serve as a judge, you confirm that:
- All information provided is true and accurate.
- You are legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- You will respect the confidentiality, professionalism, and purpose of the Globee® Awards.
12. Disclaimer
The Globee® Awards uses a public, data-driven scoring process in which winners are determined solely based on the information provided in their submissions and evaluated by independent judges from diverse industries worldwide. Judges are experienced professionals and business leaders who score entries based on the content submitted. They may not necessarily be subject-matter experts in every field or category.
While the Globee Awards recognizes organizations, individuals, products, and services for their achievements, users are strongly encouraged to perform their own due diligence before using any winning products or services or engaging with awarded companies, individuals, or teams.
The Globee Awards disclaims responsibility for the future performance, operations, or actions of any award recipient and for any interpretations of judging results.
We thank you for your commitment to fairness, excellence, and integrity in the evaluation process. Your service as a judge helps uphold the high standards of the Globee® Awards.
We reserve the right to remove your access to individual and any or all services completely if we believe you are abusing the services in any way.
The Globee® Awards reserves the right to amend, update, or discontinue any aspect of the judging terms, policies, or procedures — including the issuance schedule for verified eCertificates — at any time without prior notice.
