Svitlana Malovana

CEO and Co-founder | Raccoon Technologies | New Kyiv, Ukraine

I am an international entrepreneur with a background in law and business consulting. I am a proud Ukrainian. I have experience doing businesses in the USA and Europe while our R&D office is used to be in Ukraine. Last year my team used to work out of bombshelters.

I am the CEO and co-founder of RaccoonCare, a startup that promotes physical fitness and combats sedentary lifestyles in the workplace. Our app provides office workers with fitness programs, reminders, and challenges, making it easy and enjoyable to stay physically fit. Our technology has been validated at the Max Planck Institute, and we have been recognized as one of the top eHealth startups in New York City.

Previously, I co-founded Olans Group, a legal and business consulting firm that caters to innovative businesses in Europe and the USA. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence from the National Academy of Internal Affairs and have provided legal services to international businesses.

I have completed several business programs, including Startupbootcamp Digital Health Berlin, MIT EF CEE Forum, and YC School. I was selected for a business internship in the USA under the American state program SABIT in 2018.

I have received several accolades, including Role Model of the Year from Eurasian Startup Award, TOP 20 women leaders from Empowering Women Innovators, and TOP 25 women in IT according to Forbes Ukraine.

Additionally, I am a member of the Oxford University tech cluster and have studied ways to promote the psycho-emotional and physical rehabilitation of people with disabilities during the international Zwischenland course by Deutch-Polnisches Jugenwerk.

Our technology has been awarded a €600,000 grant from the European Union, and I was a speaker at the 9th Medica Medicine Sports Conference in 2021, alongside other renowned PhDs in medicine and health.
