I work at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Engineering Manager. My current focus is building and democratizing best-in-class AI/ML features and tooling for AWS customers at scale. Prior to my current role, I’ve had a decade of experience at AWS as an Engineering Lead. I’ve been fortunate enough to lead and participate in the design, development and operations of many groundbreaking web services, in domains including messaging fanout, digital user engagement – targeting/segmentation/analytics, cloud compute, machine learning and infrastructure automation. I’m also a domain expert within AWS for topics including operational excellence, AWS region builds and strong security postures. I’m passionate about creating innovative technologies which generate business value for my customers (many of whom are Fortune 100 companies), and which create long-term benefits for our community. In my free time, you can find me reading, hiking, gardening, or trying incrementally more complex DIY activities to spruce up my home.
