As a Judge for the Globee Awards for Business 2023, it was humbling and exciting to see the fantastic and impactful work being done by exceptional individuals and teams across the world. The Globee awards serves a fantastic platform to recognize these efforts and it was a privilege and an honor to serve as a judge for Globee Awards.

Systems Engineering, Lead | Kodiak Robotics | Mountain View, California, United States

Quresh Sutarwala serves as Systems Engineering Lead for Systems Verification and Validation at Kodiak Robotics. Quresh leads the safety validation frameworks and testing methodologies that directly contributes to the development of safe, high-quality autonomous vehicles. In addition, he is responsible for evaluation of the Kodiak Driver and platform. 

Prior to Kodiak, Quresh served as the Head of Hardware Systems engineering at Nuro, where he led the development of a fully autonomous electric robot platform. There he contributed to Nuro’s safety cases and deployments of autonomous vehicles and managed three critical verticals of Systems and Safety Engineering, overseeing both hardware and vehicle platform systems.

Quresh has also held various roles at Cummins, which included a System Integration Leader position, where he was part of the team that launched Cummins’s first electric power-train on a bus platform in 2019. 

Quresh is a graduate of University of Minnesota, where he received a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science.

Quresh has a passion for improving safety in transportation systems and actively presents and speaks at prestigious conferences and serves as a peer reviewer for distinguished automotive journals.
