Poonam Garg is a technologist seasoned leader, working as Director of Engineer – Vice President at U.S. Bank. Poonam has spearheaded cultural transformation around DevOps at U.S. Bank through an agile and collaborative approach to digital transformation and software development. Poonam lead the technical transformation by helping engineers adopt industry best practices and cloud-ready solutions. Poonam coached and mentored 50+ teams this past year on activities such as rearchitecting mainframe to a modern stack, creating a CI/CD pipeline, and embedding DevOps and security into the software development culture. She is an active member of Women in Technology Networks externally as well as internally. She is also an active member of the AWS Women’s Twin Cities group. Recently Poonam earned MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with GPA 3.61.
