Nishat, a UC San Diego Computer Science graduate, began his career in tech-led entrepreneurship straight out of college. He founded Make, a B2B digital manufacturing platform in San Francisco, leveraging his skills in strategic product development, technology innovation, enterprise selling, and process efficiency to drive its growth. In building Make from a startup into a substantial revenue-generating platform, Nishat honed his abilities in managing cross-functional teams, fostering partnerships with Fortune 10 tech giants, and securing contracts with startups backed by prominent venture capitalists and Y Combinator. Nishat’s firsthand experience in the startup ecosystem has allowed him to deeply understand the challenges and opportunities inherent in tech startup development. Additionally, his work as a judge for the Stevie Awards and as a mentor for accelerator programs run by the National Science Foundation, UC San Diego, California College of Arts, and Blackstone (UC Riverside) has broadened his perspective of the tech industry.
