I have been with ExxonMobil for over 19 years. I joined ExxonMobil in June 2003. I spent my early career years (~5 years) as a Reservoir Engineer based in Houston working deepwater oil and gas fields (early production stage). The following years were spent working mature shallow water fields as a Reservoir Engineer and later a Development Planner. I assumed leadership roles in Facilities Surveillance & Reliability and Strategic Planning Advisor for Nigeria in 2012-2014 supporting the Lead Country Manager (LCM) and Chairman. in the latter. I relocated back to Houston in 2017 as Project Execution Area Supervisor for all of Americas and Arctic regions (including USA, Brazil, Canada, and Russia). I assumed the role of Upstream Planning Advisor in 2019 coordinating and providing advisory on overall Upstream Capex (~$25G+) to Upstream Presidents and Senior Management. I was appointed as Global Implementation Lead for Apertur portfolio project in 2020 to lead and guide implementation of a novel portfolio management process / tool in the Upstream. Recently, i assumed the General Manager for Joint Venture Developments overseeing all oil and gas development activities in the JV with significant focus on reducing carbon footprint in the environment via Gas monetization and supply to domestic markets, flare elimination, Natural Gas Liquids, and Floating LNG developments. I am an active mentor of several employees and prior judge at annual TAMU SPE Gulf Coast Student Paper contests.
