Full Stack Software Engineer | Phoenix Bioinformatics | McLean, Virginia, United States

As a software engineer with a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State and a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, I have nearly three years of experience working as a solution engineer at Appian, a low code business automation platform company. During my time at Appian, I honed my skills in building scalable and efficient software solutions, as well as working with clients at Fortune 500 companies to resolve production issues in high-impact and high urgency projects. This experience helped me develop strong communication and problem-solving skills, which have been invaluable in my career.
Currently, I am working as a software engineer at Phoenix Bioinformatics, a non-profit organization that provides high-quality and financially sustainable digital research resources used by the scientific community to benefit society. During my 6+ months at Phoenix Bioinformatics, I have had the opportunity to showcase my technical skills in a variety of tools and programming languages, including AWS, Python, and Java. Specifically, I delivered a recent project with exceptional results, demonstrating my ability to design, develop, and deploy complex software solutions that meet the needs of the organization and the broader scientific community.
