As a Data Security and Privacy Engineer at Netflix, I apply my 18 years of experience and skills in Spark, Scala, Python, SQL, Data Analytics, and Data Modeling to deliver secure and scalable solutions for the global streaming platform. 

I lead large cross-functional projects. Some of these projects were at the intersection of System Design and Data Engineering. 

For the past couple of years, I’ve been working on Data Security and Privacy (build, test, scale, etc) leading early career and senior engineers in building our second generation platform.
My research work is focused on Children’s privacy laws with a mission to empower children towards safe usage of online applications and social media. I enjoy organizing conferences, discussion panels, and hackathons, with a long-term vision to build a community of experts in the field of privacy towards solving real-world problems with data-driven solutions.

I am also an author and speaker on topics related to data security and privacy, especially in the context of children’s rights and regulations. I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques and to share my knowledge and insights with others.
