I am an engineer in the healthcare industry with a keen interest in natural language processing. I have been developing data-intensive solutions for on-prem and cloud environments. While my primary focus has been building scalable back-end applications, I have some experience building with modern web frameworks. I have significant experience working in the healthcare technology sector. I have led and designed various products actively used by providers(Hospitals, physician practices) and the life sciences industry. Previously I worked for a startup, ‘explorys’, which got acquired by IBM Watson Health. During my time there, I worked on several projects involving population health management, healthcare ingestion solutions, deduplication, FHIR, clinical data pipelines, Patient matching, data integration services, and data standardization services. I gained a lot of experience working in healthcare tech and working with professionals with a clinical background and how to create the proper tooling and integrate with workloads that support very high volume (order of PetaByte) data adhering to strict SLA. Currently, I am working at Oracle health and AI, leveraging my experience to drive the Oracle Cerner integration that can potentially enable us to drive toward a national health database solution.
