Aveedibya is the co-founder and CTO of Neon, a Chicago based fintech startup. Neon is backed by 500 Startups, and part of the 500 Startups San Francisco Flagship Accelerator Program. Aveedibya has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering from IIT Guwahati and Purdue University.

Before building Neon, Aveedibya worked in the financial services industry for more than 6 years, with some of the largest financial institutions in the US, such as, Capital One and Discover Financial. During his prior roles, he was responsible for developing collections and recovery strategies aimed at reducing losses for Discover’s $32B+ personal loan and student loan portfolio. During his tenure at Capital One, Aveedibya led the Model Analysis and Infrastructure team for Auto Financing Loans and Home Loans (including new home financing loans and home equity line of credit loans) which serves more than $200B in outstanding loans.
