Ana Ahmed, the CEO and founder of Acorn Energy Solutions LLC (AES), has been a catalyst in New York State’s growing green movement, dedicating seven years of her career to the solar industry. In 2019, motivated by Ana’s relentless determination, Acorn Energy Solutions was founded with the mission of simplifying the intricate web of regulatory, engineering, and connectivity hurdles that solar installers and developers encounter in NYS. 

Ana possesses a deep understanding of the solar landscape with several years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer in the solar industry including fieldwork and office operations. Her journey inspired her to carve out a niche in operational support and consulting services for solar installations in NYS. Under Ana’s leadership, AES has rapidly managed over 1 MW of solar systems (residential and commercial) in New York State, gaining trust for holistic solutions that reduce energy costs and carbon footprints.

Aligned with the NYC Climate Mobilization Act and NY State Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, AES offers tailored solar installations and energy storage solutions. The company’s unwavering commitment to design and engineering ensures projects optimize energy efficiency and value for the clients.
