“My name is Amarachukwu Faith Orji, and I am a research associate at George Mason University. Thanks to the Globee awards for giving me this wonderful opportunity to participate as a judge for the 15th Annual 2022 Women in Business and the Professions World Awards. I was very impressed with the nominations; I had a great time reading the essays and learning of the incredible work being accomplished by women and organizations in different fields. I congratulate all the winners and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
Presidential Scholar – Incoming secretary for APHA Cancer Forum – Ph.D. Student in Epidemiology, Public Health | George Mason University | Fairfax, Virginia, United States

I am currently a third year doctoral student in public health at George Mason University. My research is focused on developing tailored specific interventions both at the individual and community level for cancer prevention and control that will lead to improvement in knowledge and awareness about screening services, reduction in cancer disparities and reducing the burden of cancer altogether.
Before starting my doctoral program, I worked at the Maryland department of health for two years on vaccine preparedness and safety. I applied to be a judge for the women in business and profession worlds awards because I believe I am a strong advocate for women empowerment and recognition. I also strongly believe that I am equipped to judge the work of these phenomenal women.
