Afan Rauf is a Network Architect/Leader – MEA (Middle East & Africa) at General Electric (GE) Corporate, based in Dubai, and possess 16 years of experience in data networks engineering, cyber security, cloud computing, and I am an aspiring digital transformation candidate. My primary responsibilities at GE include developing and implementing network architectures, designing and deploying critical infrastructure, and providing technical expertise and leadership to teams. Before joining GE, I had a successful career at Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Nokia, and Motorola. During my time at these companies, I gained valuable experience in the technology and business worlds and had the opportunity to work on some of the most cutting edge projects. This experience was further enhanced by my graduate studies at Boston University, where I earned an MS in Computer Information Systems. I also took advantage of various technology and leadership development programs offered by renowned institutions such as MIT and Stanford, and GE Crotonvile, NY. 

Furthermore, he had multiple individual contributors, critical and strategic leadership roles while driving key initiatives, new technology introduction, service transitions and continuous improvement in processes on critical projects.
