I have been working with various open-source big data tools such as spark, python, SQL data lakes, etc, in different environments such as Azure, GCP, DataBricks as well on-prem since 2017. I have held data and machine learning engineering roles in various large financial services institutions such as Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, OMERS, and Scotiabank. I have led various cross-team collaboration Data Science and Data Engineering initiatives such as scalable model monitoring and ETL pipelines, Data Governance and compliance, pipeline security, and usage of cutting-edge ML models with spark.
I have a background in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
