Change is hard. Change can be scary. 

2020 was certainly a year of change. 

Seemingly overnight our whole world changed. From the way we worked to the way we lived. But we adapted. We found a way to succeed. And we learned what’s important.

From changing the way we shop to changing the way we are paid, 2020 brought a fresh perspective on areas of our life that we thought would remain the same forever.

But change is in my DNA. Five years ago I set out to make an impactful change in the lives of every American worker. But I had to disrupt an antiquated system that had been around for centuries. I learned to enact change you must be willing to fight for something you believe in. You must be guided by values and principles that keep you grounded and focused on your mission.  

When we sat down to articulate our company values, we knew they had to align with our unwavering mission to support the American worker. The values had to speak to our grit, dedication and authenticity as we work to create a culture that fosters growth for ourselves as individuals and for the company as a whole. We appreciate the unique traits and competencies of each of our team members, and we never forget that each of us plays an integral role in our holistic success.

Today, we don’t just talk about these 7 values, we live and breathe them every day. They help guide us in all of our endeavors and are embedded in every decision we make and in the way we work. They are our North Star — and with them — we can change the world, one day at a time.

Value 1 | Do Your Research

Do Your Research – Knowledge is power. Study, internalize and research so you can have a well-reasoned view. It’s about being prepared but also understanding that your view can change and evolve as you continue to do your research. 

Value 2 | Start Simple

Start Simple – When taking on something new, the key is to just get started. Don’t worry about automating everything, or having the perfect answer. Start simple. Test, learn, iterate.

Value 3 | See The Circle

See The Circle – Everyone is part of this bigger mission and we are all working toward the same goal. Regardless of what you’re working on, you have a circle of colleagues that surround you. Involve them early and often, because it will make us stronger.

What excites you most about the work that you do?

Seeing the life-changing impact DailyPay has on individuals and families excites and motivates me to work everyday.

Hardworking people needed money to support themselves and their family, but had to wait two weeks, often putting them in dire financial situations.
