At isolved, Amberly Dressler leads analyst and public relations as well as a team of passionate storytellers who produce compelling content and promote the voice of the customer.
Being recognized among peers is special to me. We put a lot of care into our work and being highlighted with one of my favorite colleagues ever is really special. Episodes – the internal webinar series we are honored for – was a passion project that required many extra hours and having it honored in this way, is truly meaningful. It’s also a moment to be thankful for those who empowered me to do my best work. I’m so thankful for Rachel Teitt Gill, Alex Atzberger and Kirsten Allegri Williams for supporting us on Episodes and the panelists who joined.
Being able to tell a brand’s story and do so in an engaging and relevant way is exciting day in and day out.
Work hard and be nice to people.
Writing. The amazing author Deane Barker said “when in doubt, create content” and it resonated with me so much. Whenever I’m uncertain about where to go next with a project, usually writing and creating content is the answer. While the answer will be different for everyone about what makes them “them”, finding their key motivators is critical for when they need to focus.
A hostess at a Mexican restaurant. I quickly became a server and – at one point – began checking IDs for the bar/nightclub attached to it. I was 16 so have to imagine that wasn’t on the up and up (lol).
I am a big believer in bringing positive energy to work. Energy is so contagious, and I never want to be the person who is bringing others down – only lifting them up. What was so special about Episodes is I got to share it with another energy giver – my cohost, colleague and best work buddy – Justin Anovick. Even when we were tired and working long days and weekends, that drive to be energy givers kept us going.
I just started a position leading brand and content at isolved, a leader in employee experience technology. It’s come full circle contributing to the employee experience with Episodes – when we did WFH editions with cooking shows, career days, game shows and more and regular versions with helpful, company content – and now being in a position to share the importance of employee experience and the tech that can help.

Earning my master’s degree while being a working mom
I started as a journalist. I wanted to be a sports reporter, and I did it which is something I’m proud of. Watching myself on the NFL Network with my mom, grandma and best friend is something I’ll never forget. Then, later I covered the tech industry which opened a lot of doors to where I am today. That said, transitioning to the global comms side of things from journalism was a hard pivot but I’m so thankful for my network, colleagues and friends who embraced me and recognized the strengths that a journalist could bring to brand and content.

My family keeps me motivated. My daughter always says “I want to be you when I grow up” and that is super motivating to the type of working mom I want to be. Hearing my son and my husband recognize my hard work is also very motivating.
Writing a book. I’ve edited many but now it’s my turn to write one.
Joining Episerver (thank you Rachel and James).
Doubting myself.
Empathy and empowerment go a long way in leadership.
If there was a missed opportunity, then I believe it wasn’t meant to be.
Justin Anovick who would always raise my hand for things even when I didn’t know.
Considerate
I love proving a brand’s story through work with customers, journalists, analysts and data.

SAP. I love a great brand story and they have one of the best.
Kindness.
I’m currently in my next position! I’m ready to grow the isolved brand through our work with analysts and journalists who give third-party credibility to why employee experience matters and the best tech for each company.
Thankful!
It’s an older book but “Makes Me Wannna Holler” was one of my first introductions into systematic racism, and it opened my eyes to a lot of injustices.
Winning the Price is Right
A good mom.
With authenticity.
“Like” – although I wish it, like, wasn’t.
“Those times when you get up early and you work hard, those times when you stay up late and you work hard, those times when you don’t feel like working, you’re too tired, you don’t want to push yourself, but you do it anyway. That is actually the dream. That’s the dream. It’s not the destination, it’s the journey. And if you guys can understand that, then what you’ll see happen is you won’t accomplish your dreams, your dreams won’t come true; something greater will.” ~ Kobe Bryant
